Use:
6890 is primarily intended for locking of cash boxes, safes and vault doors.

Features/Functions:

  • FAS/S&G 6890 is a lever-based lock with double bitted keys that can be re-keyed using a simple procedure without having to remove the lock.
  • The lock has over a million practical combinations.
  • The key is symmetrical, so that it can be used “upside down”.
  • The key can only be removed in the locked position.
  • 6890 is set up for acid resistance to be applied internally.
  • The lock is protected against manipulation and optical reading.
  • Keys come in a variety of lengths 45mm, 90mm, 115mm, 130mm, 220mm and 360mm and come in solid or removable bitte versions.

The 6890 has the same “footprint”, i.e. fixing dimensions and bolt position as the majority of other locks for protective devices.

  • Protective units for valuables:
    Scandinavian-labelled protective units for valuables (safes, vault doors, depositories and ATMs) in accordance with decrees SBC 918, 919 and 920, and standards INSTA 611, 611 and 612 respectively.
